Does this seem little low

Ok iv got an i7 970 @4ghz kingston T1 at 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 gtx 580's @ 850mhz and I only get 39768 on 3d mark vantage (GPU score 41000) am I doing something wrong ?

Yes it is

Try one with physx set to cpu in nvidia settings

It will be lower,but its easier to compare.
