Dodgy Temps??

I have a MACHII cooling my winchester to -20idle but according to speed fan as soon as I put it unde load (superpi 8m) temps rise to +3 degrees.

Head runs at -52 idle, -48 under load and I have good contact on the cpu (used extra washers on head bolts to improve contact.

Any thoughts?

Poor contact... unless you're running an insane amount of volts through it

Max volts is 1.65 on a winchester CPU, I don't think that's too high?When I removed the head the AS Ceramique was clearly disturbed in a perfect square print suggesting that the head itself is pressed up aginst the spreader.

Is there a way I could improve the contact on what I have?
