Shame it fried the LAN driver for my motherboard last time I used it.

Fried it

Sorry to say bud but you must have something very wrong with your system if a driver removal program fried your lan port :(

*Edit* Ignore that last one, Misread your post ^_^

At any rate it shouldn't touch your LAN driver, I run this monthly *or when there's a driver update* on 6 different machines running a mix of Intel, AMD and Nvidia, Not 1 has had it's LAN driver buggered up.

Well it was fine until the last time I had to do it to get 14.4 on my AMD rig. After I had done the normal proceedure I started getting bluescreens relating to a certain driver (this was before my memory broke). Reverted by to a previous point in time and it was fine. I did the exact same thing as I had done and it caused the issues again. I'm sure it was a fluke/bad luck but still, really was quite frustrating and basically stopped me from doing some good ol' benching for a while.
I also have a complaint about 14.4 but that is for another time...

My philosophy is this, It's man made so it's not perfect so when it can break it will break ^_^
