Digi Thermometers

DICE is sorted, need to get a "decent" digi thermometer sorted now... Can't afford a Fluke no matter how much I want one, so need something a little cheaper.

Gray reccomends DIGITAL THERMOMETER K102 (voltcraft) from http://www1.uk.conrad.com only issue is that it doesnt come with a thermocouple.

The only type K's i can find there or elsewhere seem to "max" at -100. Ok for DICE but not so good for LN2. Any pointers?

Second one is This

from mappers. Again dual input and comes with thermocouples this time...

Thoughts chaps?

Will any type K probe work to the limits of the device, or do the ranges actually vary

Cheers

I use thermocouples rated to -75c and they read down to -200c,although i can't measure accuracy. If you have found some to -100c,they should easily be good enough for ln2,as quite often, you will find yourself running in the -90c to -120c range.

Cheers - yea that site is a bit funny with links it seems...

Sorry to be a nubbin, can you point me in the right direction as to what type of sensor i actually need?
