Did my SSD just die ?

Evening all, turned my computer off yesterday to go out and when I returned later on that night I turned it on and it came up saying "BOOT MGR is Missing, press CTRL ALT DEL to restart". So I had a look around to see if anything had came out but everything was fine. I left it for today as it was pretty late and I took the SSD out and plugged it into my other computer and booted to make sure it was at least getting picked up in Windows. It was detected in my other PC but my daily computer did not pick it in the BIOS. Anyway, I installed Windows on one of my Hard Drives just so I could get it up and running again. I never did anything different by turning it off just hit shut down and left the room. Is my SSD dead/dying ? Anything I can do to try and get it working again ?

Thanks in advance for any help given, Dario :)
