Did Duke Nukem Forever happen?!

Yo fellas,

Old skool gamer coming out of the dusty closet after a good 4-5 years and getting back on the scene.

Before I packed in following the PC games scene (when my pc wouldnt play nothin worth playing) I was excited by the rumours surrounding Duke Nukem Forever as Duke Nukem was the first game that really done it for me.

Question is;

Did it ever happen or was it proven to just be rumour.... or is it still in the pipeline?

Nahh buddy, it is meant too but.. it's been like 10 years since the last release, they keep changing their mind so I doubt that this one is going to happen to be quite honest.

Duke is supposed to make an appearance in a trilogy for PSP and Nintendo DS and more on it here. Still doesn't mean that it's gonna happen though

Apparently Duke nukem forever will be a Xbox 360 exclusive, using the current unreal engine.

I dont foresee this game coming out ever...and that makes me sad.

3d realms died, duke was cancelled, i think some company bought the rights to it but i dunno.
