DFI SLI DR voltage settings and Clock Gen

I have been looking around a bit today and a few people here are using clock gen.

I downloaded it to try and found that voltages were FID and VID and had not a clue wot that meant for a start.

Also in BIOS on DFI I can go past 1.8v, clockgen only allows me to select 1.55v.

What does it all mean?

I might try A64 Tweaker too to see what thats all about - but though I'd ask about clock gen first (walk before I run and all that).

Indeed you are.

Clockgen is great but the voltage settings don't work on the dfi due to the voltage boost thingy.

FID is not voltage - it's the CPU multiplier.

A64 tweaker is great if you know how to use it but the dfi has most of the options offered inbuilt.
