Aight yall, here are some juicy high res pix for ya to feast on of the new DFI RD600 board!

Gonna hopefully get finished with it tomorrow once I score some dielectric and clear nail polish. Got it up and running on air tonight, worked like a champ and booted the first time. Already got my Swifty NB sink in place, just gotta finish up the insulation and I'll be ready for case installation and some SERIOUS clockin'!

All of the attached pix are 1600x1200, this should give OC3D uploads a run for its money :D.

Nice board, sh*t chipset. Hope it works out Frag.

It got problems? My 680i is giving me oodles of grief too - to the point I was gonna grab one of these.

The board looks sexy as hell. I just hope that it ends up with less issues than the 680i chipset.

@Nick - why always negative? every friggin time. It's new and bound to have a few issues but I hope they'll get worked through as we get some BIOS releases

Nick is bein' a nub, disregard. He bases his remark on the fact that in AndreYang's testing it gets beat by 975X in 05 and 01 by about 10 points

nice looking board, those heatsinks are a bit on the beefy side lol. all these negative comments about the 680i are putting me off getting one :(

When isn't it a negative comment from nick? I'm sure any problems they may have are probably no worse than many other chipsets. Plus, you can always count on DFI to make a nice motherboard. That and look how pretty it is :yumyum:

XMS is having mass problems with 680i right now...

But let's hope the DFI is ok.../me luff t3h DFI

On another note MSI have released a mobo with an X-Fi on it - nice

Shame it's an MSI ;)

Whoa! That's pretty 1337 even though I don't care for X-Fi, much better than your run of the mill onboard audio indeed.

Got any links, pix, specs on this board Kempy? What chipset does it run?

Oh yeah, has anyone seen DFI package in a big ol' sticker like that with their LP boards before? This is the first time I've seen that, I was like z0mg awesome! I'm having a hard time figuring out where to put it. Possibly the back window of my car in the middle? Or should I put it on my case window?

Back window of your car on the lower left would work well. I wouldn't say case window it's too big and obvious for a case window, you want case window stickers to be semi transparent and not bulky. May fair well some where around the house too.

Hrmm, I was thinking center of my back window because I already have stickers in the left and right corners, need something for the middle. Maybe I'll hold on to it until I find the perfect place for it.
