Desktop Upgrade Advice

This is my current build

I've had this build for about 2.5 years now and I want to upgrade. I was going to get an AMD A10-7870k processor and a Radeon R7 370 graphics card. But according to game-debate I wouldn't be able to run fallout 4 very well (I'm not expecting to play it on the best settings, but I do want it to look nice and play well), it says that the processor is the main problem, I have only picked this graphics card and processor because they are the best that I know I can use (and afford). I don't want to spend more than £300, but I will go higher if need be but not past £400, and I want to buy a new monitor and more ram(8gb) as well as maybe a new hardrive, and a new power supply if needed.

So long story short, what is the best graphics card and processor I can buy that will work with my system and still leave me enough money to but a monitor and more ram?

Thank you in advance.

As Tom said, get an AMD Athlon X860k. They're great little chips and are much more capable then most people think, especially overclocked.

Here is what I came up with:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor (£54.96 @ Aria PC)
CPU Cooler: RAIJINTEK AIDOS BLACK 48.6 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£14.99 @ Novatech) - the AMD stock cooler is junk and this will enable you to get some overclocking done if you want to.
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card (£158.59 @ Amazon UK) - 4gb vram means it'll last a good few years. Might be a little overpowered for the CPU but most games need a better cpu than GPU (still!)
Case: Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (£61.74 @ Amazon UK) - The current case you have would be unable to hold everything
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£63.31 @ Amazon UK) -Overkill but It'll help you out when you upgrade again further down the line.
Total: £353.59

This sounds like a good bet for your budget mate. You could even pick up a last gen 280 or 280 potentially for a few less if you search about for it.

Thank you so much. I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to computers, so I'm really grateful for the help. I wasn't really expecting to be able to get so much for that sort of price.
I can't wait to upgrade :D
