Denuvo has been successfully cracked

Denuvo has been cracked with both DOOM and Rise of the Tomb Raider already becoming available online.

So Denuvo has done it's job then? It's been uncrackable for long enough where people just gave up and bought them games.

Denuvo wasnt cracked, it was bypassed with the help of the demo version and an exploit in steam. All they need to do is update to fix the exploit or remove the demo, my guess since is weekend they didnt bother, but once monday come, the "cracked" version wont work anymore.

Yes those two games have been bypassed, but what it means in the long-term is that it will be less effective for future releases, and games will be cracked in shorter time frames.

Steam will patch the bypass soon enough though anyway.

I honestly don't see the point in getting cracked games, You miss out on performance patches, Frequent updates and even if the updates are available you never know what's been done to them.

Just checked and yes, it seems both ROTTR and Doom are now cracked. However, the grief you have to go through to get them running is pretty mad (you need a fake Steam account and you must log into it).

I have both games any way so tbh any one who has waited this long because they're squeaky are stupid any way. Having said that though I would probably buy the games instead of trying to run them cracked any way. With Denuvo they can change it at the drop of a hat and probably render the cracks useless any way.

With Just Cause 3 they thought they had cracked it loads of times. Every time though they would stop working.

Not what id call a denuvo crack. just a steam exploit that people use to play many many different games.
