So i replaced my cm 690 2 with a define r4. I just love this thing, it"s beautifull.
Cable mannagement was easy and it"s perfectly tidy :D

System inside:

CPU: 1055t 3.8Ghz
GPU: 7850 dualX 2Gb (1150/1350/ 1.225v)
RAM: Kingston HyoerX 16Gb
SSD: Kingston HyperX 120Gb
HDD: Wd green 2Tb x2
PSU: Corsair tx650

So airflow is fantastic, that noiseblocker int he front is 2000rpm, it in a combination 2ith 2 fractals and my temos are 4C lower then in the 690 2.

Yes it is, it really is :)

Really liking how tidy this is, nice job! I was about to suggest some sleeved cables (I might have a slight fetish for them) before realizing that it would be rather pointless in a windowless case. Clever me

Well honestly it"s so easy to make cables tidy in this case. While in cm 690 2 it"s mission impossible. I definitley won"t lose 3 more years of warranty on my PSU just for sleaved cables. But if i earn well during summer i will replace my bad boy with a AX 750.

Yeah shooting your warranty for something that's not even going to be visible really does not make any sense (although - extensions? But that adds more messiness).

Nah, there is a lot of room in the back but still, it wouldn"t be nice if a added more cabels. It"s a non modular psu. My case is closed on the floor and i don"t see the internals so there is not much point doing things like that. But when i buy modular PSU i"ll have nicely sleeved cabels

If you sleeve the cables well then it is worth it because you have the satisfaction of knowing that the inside looks as amazing as the outside and it also enables good colour coordination

Tbh I would just take the hit because the majority of the time the PSU will last for that 3 years and especially as it is a corsair unit I really wouldn't worry solid units in my exprience

fair enough if you are going to get the ax 750. Are you going ta get the sleeved cables for it though because they are legit corsair warranty backed

Well once i get an AX750 cabels are the smallest problem i have. I can get white ones witch would be nice in this case.

I upgraded my gpu too a gigabyte gtx660ti OC and re-arranged the airflow a little bit.
It"s a lot easier to clean front dust filters then bottom ones so i have put intake fans in the front only:

First of all thank you for making this switch: I can now show these to my GF who is considering an upgrade to her chassis within the next year or so and she has the exact one you used to have x-). Secondly, that rig is lookin pretty good. What kind of thermal paste you gonna use on that new card, and are you sticking with the OEM cooler? What kind of temps you run on the CPU thus far? I caught that they are 4 C lower is all.

I have put an artick mx4 on the gpu and CPU.
If i put a 2000rpm scythe kama flow on my cpu cooler the socket temp won"t pass 40C in bf3 at 3.8ghz. Airflow is fantastic now.. That 1800rpm noiseblocker is pulling a lot of air out.
