LG monitors tend to have plastic-y flimsy stands, but the image quality is alright you don't have an awful lot of choice within that price range, as far as I can see.

A friend of mine has one and i'm getting one for xmas, it's just epic. Pretty sure most 22 inch ips panels are lg anyway.

I suggest this if you're after a 21.5"/22".
I have a 23" version of this, code; 23EA63. I got it for £120 around 3 months ago.
The stand is not the best but it holds the actual panel reasonably. It wobbles when you push down on it slightly on top corners. But for the cost, who cares + you're rarely, if at all gonna poke it down in the corner.

I have two of the 22 inch models and they are great, made my laptop screen look absolute rubbish! The only problem I have is that as I got them from two different e-tailers I think I got different revisions as the firmware seems a little different and the white levels aren't quite the same, which is noticeable to me as they are right next to each other but apart from that I can't fault them, well, apart from the slightly wobbly stand but once they are in position on your desk it doesn't move.
