Jus some pics of my current work/play space

My desk - LG 17" TFT, Front 3 Speakers WGPS606 connecting my to my wireless network (Netgear thing with flashy lights)

My Surround Sound reciever/5 DVD Changer

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard, MX1000, P160 (without its face plate - been tidying the cables in there - pics later ) and media centre, being prepd to go in another room. oh and obligatory coke bottle - keeping me awake :worship:

Sub & P160, IcyBox Enclosure & zip (old school) :stickpoke lol

Lastly, but not least, the rear speakers for the surround sound set, and the ohh sooo comfy bed lol

EDIT - Finally cleared all the crap up in my pc

Looking vaguely tidy - the top is a bit of a mess, but not much we can do about that due to the number of wires that come out from there The only wires that cross the board are the firewire and temp sensor ones, rest is routed round or behind

My nice little bit of storage

and behind - where the wires are hidden

Looks a lot better than it used to - and much improved airflow as a result

ty guys, took a while but definately worth it - jus a shame seasonic psus dont come braided/sleeved. Oh well, it all adds to the fun

Some new piccies - replaced some of the fans & added some extras Also changed my hard disk setup to give me more space

And the best bit - due to the free double memory, free delivery - it cost £940, which I didn't think was too bad. Using it so far, I think I'll be able to turn off the paging file to enable better battery life (less hdd usage) and the processor seems to be able to run at 998mhz for most of the time (except when running image editors, or installing stuff)

Quick update now I'm back from uni for the Summer

My desk, avec laptop & 17" TFT, oh, and 2xMX1000s.

My PCs - one is running Windows Home Server Beta, the other XP Pro. Oh, and the sub for my surround sound set (more complete pictures in the other posts above)

And the innards from my MiniITX project, installing kubuntu atm

RE: Speakers - oh most definately, I wouldn't go back to a normal stereo now, these have been brilliant, really miss them at uni

My mum didn't know what 'the down key' was the other day when I told her to press it....

Her idea of a PC is: letters on the keyboard, mouse cursor, eBay and outlook express (which she still cant work herself)

If I'm honest, the only thing it gets used for is running scheduled backups. Haven't really tried the media/streaming parts...

Lol, I only use it for backups and to store music on. As you can't upgrade the CTP to the RC then you're not really advised having everything on it anyway.
