Custom MM UFO Horizon

Just got the email from MM today my case has been shipped.

Will update with piccys when she land`s in the UK.

Here is big red in all it`s glory unpacked from the box all the way from the good old USA.

2 x 120.3 rads up front with 6 drive bays below.

1 X Power Bulgin (Red) Lighted Vandal Proof Switch

1 x Reset Bulgin (Green) Lighted Vandal Proof Switch.

Top of the case with black windows,rivets and screw`s.

Side view of case both left & right are the same as i wanted to hide anything under the motherboard tray.

Rear end view,i had the top psu port removed as i would never use it.

Inside shot,love the horizon motherboard tray.

I will be taking my time with this build this time

Wee update.

Power and reset switch braided.

Red lighted switch is power on and power led.

Green lighted switch is reset and hard drive actifity.

Piccy came out a bit crap as it was hard to photo the green actifity light.

Another update 03.07.2007

Yate loon fans sprayed red,got a close a match as i could.

The 6 rad fans are SH models and the 3 other case fans are SL models,note one fan is missing well i dropped it while i was spraying ...doh.

The fans on the rads are linked to 1 3 pin so that i could keep it tidy as possable.

Sprayed some SS hex bolts black(fan bolts) & my D-TEK FuZion intel bracket.

Not that ive done this work i can start to build.

Blocks fitted on motherboard.

Fitted my Raptor 150 X to the top rad.

Took my air cooler off the 8800 ultra superclocked ready for the EK waterblock.

Hmmm ultra core.

Top view,man it was a right royal pain to install the loop with the videocard and ram in.

Gona get me a cold stella now

Had a bit of a re-think and put the black tygon on the ram/videocard loop as it look`s way better.

What do you think?

Where does the compressor go ?,only kidding,looks great.I like the black tygon and you've got a good black/silver/red theme going on there.You have an eye and some skills for building a nice system.

While not to my personal taste regarding colour scheme (please don’t take offence) it is a very tidy and well put together machine indeed. Good job well done there sir.

Really glad ive gone for these fan grill filter`s as they catch a hell of a lot of dust,not the best looking one`s but im happy with them.

Great work there clone - just out of interest how noisy is it with all them fans? Even volt modded fans will kick out some noise.

They are not to bad noise wise ive got them on the fanbus and these are the yate loon SH model,plus ive got a 15 yr old daughter so noise dont come into it with her and her music
