Crysis 3 MP Open Beta

I just downloaded and installed the beta and played for about 45 mins. or so.

I did not find any problems loading or playing the game..
The graphics look really nice, but then again it is Crytec..

Settings are all on high and running fraps.. the fps are averaging about 50 to 65 fps, better than I thought it would run on my card.

Game play was kind of cool, but I am a novice at best playing multiplayer..

Is the game released acrossed the pond yet?

Hey dude ive been playing it aswell and im in the UK it runs very smoothly for me and ive had no problems either been playing for around 3 hours, if the end game gets better than this, it may be a multiplayer competitor for games like cod

I believe you could be correct about being a good competitor for MP's.

I am just learning cod, my son has been trying to teach me..nice fast game, but I sure do get my ass handed to me alot..The Hard Way.

I do enjoy BF3 MP...I can manage to stay alive for 2 or 3 mins. (sometimes)

I do however have a blast playing though..

Played this last night, and had to set in the Nvidia Control Panel for the game to use SLI after adding it to the profile.

Apparently there are new Nvidia Beta Drivers out, so will check that later.

Frame rate seems low to me though because I am only getting 55fps at 1920x1080 max settings.

The game is good, and it looks amazing but I have a few concerns but I will try it again tonight.

what are the frames per second like? and would it run on 7950 CFX smooth?

it will run fine on your 7950 i just played it on my freinds pc and he has an i52500k @4.3ghz and 560ti and gets 70+ fps...it looks amazing on the pc not so good on the xbox....which is what i got it on also very laggy on the xbox im talking sub 30fps in places....

I noticed this last night also...first I was thinking it was the server...because I did not notice this earlier in the day when I was playing.

It was a pain during a fire fight, almost laggy

I will see if it happens again later on today

idk, besides the nice graphics there is nothing interesting about the game for me. played the closed beta or alpha or what it was once, dropped it out of boredom. also EA, so f that.

Hopefully the single play would be better than crysis 2 i hated it unfortunatly.

Ive been given strict orders by my parents to not download beta tests haha
january has been a good month testing-wise, tested firefall, war thunder and a couple other games and i was told in an email that i have an excellent chance beta testing the elder scrolls

That's what annoyed me about it because Vsync was turned off.

Just installed the latest beta drivers so gonna give it a try and see what I get.

Now getting around 80fps lol but sometimes it hits over 110fps but then drops down to 80'ish

Wow impressed. Loving the gameplay!

I started it up on 310.64 (for curiosity) got around 45~60fps on high..

Anyway I checked and it was only using 1 gpu, and that gpu wasn't even getting warm..

So off comes 310.64, drivercleaner and a few reboots then on goes 313.96 and some reboots later... immediately the fps improves and the game feels a lot smoother to play. Checked gpus, still only one in use.. *humph*

Twitter reminded me to get the EVGA sli patch, install, run game goes to 120fps!!! both gpus in use, runs a dream...

I have a better idea, chuck everything on very high (except motion blur, which by the way, you have to turn off every time you start the game regardless of the setting that loads) stick SMAA on 2xgpu mode

60fps dipping to 53~55 in parts SAWEEET!

First game after drivers and sli boost, I went 20 - 0!!!! on crashsite I was buzzing off that

GOD DAMN I love it!!

Gameplay is great, I love the asymmetry of hunter, really love it, reminds me of the old avp games (hint hint crytek)

using the 310.70 drivers with the rig in my sig...

used all medium settings with fxaa and i was getting over 60 fps but it had absolutely horrid stutter...saw new drivers are out on previous posts in this thread, did that help anyone?
