Hey guys i have got a massive problem. The crosshair iv formula that is in my main rig has died and i need to return it. Me being me i have lost the box and receipt for the board as both are kept together. I know this is a long shot but is there any chance of asus taking my motherboard back and repairing it without the s/n or reciept. Like can they take the original manufacturing date as warrenty??? Thanks again guys.

I'd have thought they would. Where did you buy it from? Retailers normally have their own receipt copy on system.

But - you mention repairing it? Correct me if I'm wrong but they dont tend to repair motherboards, just send you a new one. They arent exactly made by hand, and I dont think it's worth the time for a machine to be programmed to look for a fault and repair it

Fair enough I dont know what they do with them tbh. But i have no idea where i got it from. It was an online store so im going through my old emails to see if the reciept is still there, but im not keeping my hopes up. I got it last september some time but im not sure because i purchased a lot of parts over a long period of time :L
