Got some second-hand Creative T20 for less than 20 quid - bargain, right? Well... possibly.
They have a fault whereby the slave speaker (and only the slave) constantly emits a very quiet, high-pitched white noise whenever they're on. It doesn't change with the volume and it can't be heard over the top of normal sound; it's only audible when the speakers are on-but-silent.
I've tried a different slave speaker (from my old T10) with this T20 master and the problem persists, so it's definitely an issue with the master-to-slave circuitry - any ideas? My mate in electronics reckons it could be power supply noise, but I have no clue
