So I did some testing and this was my best stable voltage for prime!
I wasn't in the mood for start->BSOD's the whole time so I just use OS Tuner that came with my mobo! I set voltage to stock and then started prime..while prime was running I reduced Vcore then left prime running for 30min then dropped Vcore again. The previous screenie was usable but would prime for like 20sec:lol:.
So I don't knw if that is a good 2600k stock voltage or not. Maybe i should start messing with the PLL/Vtt voltages! I've got a fairly good baseline.
@grassman this is not a new chip I got it around August 2011.
From some tests this CPU does OC pretty well! I want to put it under water(Water Chiller) and see what happens around 1.6V region, just for shits and giggles ofcourse. I watched a Youtube video where a 1/10HP Chiller was getting 9C idle and 25C load at 5.4GHz 1.6V. So I was thinking of getting a 1 or 2hp chiller
Okay wow that picture came out useless
Hope these show the important stuff!
