Cpu Lapping

im lapping my A64 X2 3800+ S939

got 200/400/600 grit sand paper

doing the figure 8.

was wondering, how far do i go?

and should i lap my Arctic Cooler 64 Pro, the finish on it doesnt look that great

ps: my friend is lapping his PD 940

alright thanks for your responses!!

turns out my cpu dead, i dont no how, i was relaly safe with it

i put my CPU back in the machine boot'd up but nothing hapened, nutin on the screen. poped in my brother 3500+ and it loaded right up.

so gonna go buy another X2 for $73 (i dont wana spend more money on this computer by getting a Core2 etc.. and i cant reformat, too much stuff on my drive to lose)
