So it looks less like a mouse, more like a space ship... But isn't that the point of gaming peripherals? Cougar seem to think so! The 600M is COUGAR's second gaming mouse after the top notch 700M. This mouse has been designed to suit gamers with a claw grip, but if that isn't your style, it still looks quite comfortable.
The main purpose of the 600M is is to offer gamers a mouse that can both provide state-of-the-art technology, all the features necessary to enhance the gaming experience and an aesthetically pleasing design. Its high-end components (OMRON switches, ADNS-9800 Sensor, premium quality soft touch surface) guarantee a pretty darn good gaming experience, and its 32-bit ARM processor and 512KB on-board storage provide will make this one obedient puppy, reacting to your commands without (noticeable) delay. The on board storage also means you can have up to 3 configuration profiles, which is always useful to have. This mouse looks the dogs-doodahs too. One unique feature is that the left mouse button is a floating key with a big LED backlight that can shine with up to 16.8 million colors.
If black isn't your thing, there's a rather striking orange version...
Other noteworthy features include, 8 fully configurable buttons including a 45-degree 'sniper button'. This means you can click this button without actually affecting the movement of the mouse i.e. losing your target. The mouse also features 8 fully configurable buttons for all your shortcut/functions/macro needs.
Another key point is the 600M's compatibility with Cougar Fusion, which allows for easy configuration and synchronisation of other Fusion compatible devices, like their headsets and keyboards. There's no word on pricing yet but head over the Product Page for more information!
