Knowing Corsair this is going to cost your left spud knuckle, First born and probably an organ, Good to see progress though.

Computex 2014 - During Corsair's party held in Taipei tonight, the company unveiled a bunch of new products, starting with the exciting new DDR4 RAM.

First up, we have the Value Select RAM from Corsair, which is the company's value set of RAM - but then we have the real deal, the Dominator Platinum memory from Corsair. Corsair's new Dominator Platinum DDR4 RAM is clocked at an impressive 2400MHz, and has the excellent heatspreader on top.

If this comes out soon, then what will happen to all of the new Z97 boards. They are not compatible with DDR4, right? Or is this just a really early look; to come out for Z107?

I remember reading some time ago too that DDR4 will run lower voltages than current DDR3 they were talking 1 volt

Ill be waiting for some real world reviews and opinions before buying. I went from 800 MHz DDR2 to 1600 MHz DDR3 and virtually notice zero difference in actual real world use. I know there are big differences in benchmark graphs but in terms of what youll actually notice in day to day use, it aint always worth it. Maybe this will be different.
