Corsair releases their MP500 series of M.2 NVMe SSDs

If they did i would like to know the OEM, because no Asus/GB/MSI are going to do it unless Corsair gives them very large chunk of the profit.

Don't tell me has one company finally got the sticker the correct way only has taken like 3-4 years to get something as simple as this sorted out.....lol

I don't know, EVERY single Corsair USB drive I have owned has failed shortly after purchase and even the replacements have failed not long after receiving them, to the point I no longer buy this brand at all.

I have had issues with their Memory over the years too, not that I have not had issues with other manufacturers, but this Brand I avoid when possible.

Its my 2 cents - it wont buy you a damn thing.

as far as SSD is concerned yes, I agree. I have replaced all mine after they failed on me.

USB though, I love corsairs little sticks. I have a 32gb still rocking strong and no signs of degredation.

Why they have to use a silly sticker like that though I dont know. I would remove it. Much prefer a black pcb with dark chips in view that a glossy black sticker saying "CORSAIR MP500"

I mean, who gives a rats a** what SSD it is. Once hooked into the mobo I think seeing that standout would look out of place.

Yea its been not a good run for me with Corsair. Samsung seems like a no brainer here. 512Gb for 339 vs 480Gb Corsair for 324 (on their site which read out of stock currently)

Amazon will next day me the Samsung for 7$ extra. Anyway I like competition in that it will hopefully force Samsung to lower its prices.

Just looked at some prices and performances. Corsair MP500 480GB is more expensive, and slower than Samsung 960 EVO 500 GB... If they priced them lower, based on performance figures it would be a great buy. Lets face it. You won't use 960 EVO to it's true potential in standard use. If they were cheaper they would be in absolute sweet spot to go up from standard SSD.
