Really love this 250d, but really I'm just in love with everything which says Obsidian. Still torn between the 350d or this one. But I'd like to do some WC so no Idea what to pick

Okies, got the reply from the Corsair after they did a test:
I did a test fitting and the 280X and 290X DC2 versions will NOT fit in the 250D because of the protruding heat pipe. In the TastyPC video, she used a 780 DC2 which may explain the discrepancy. I hope this helps!
All the latest generation EVGA GPUs will fit in this case. So, you're good to go! Also, if you notice, most Corsair 250D reviews on YouTube contain the EVGA 780/ 780 Ti/ 290/ 290X GPUs in them because they're all short. Very few like OC3D discuss compatibility to some extent.
I would like to know if the Powercolor PCS+ R9 290X fits in this case thickness-wise. I read that it's like a 2.5 slot card as the cooler pops out a bit.
... length-wise, a 12 inch card like the MSI Lightning can technically fit in. But what about the thickness? The MSI is only 2 slots thick.
I'd appreciate it if someone actually gets a chance to try this out! The Powercolor PCS+ R9 290X is a beast of a card and is very well priced in the US.
