Mp600 pro $405

WOW...the Corsair MP600 Pro Gen4 promises "a magical 7 GB/s read!" But for starters the needed $405 to purchase this product in times like these is either stupid or off the charts. My immediate reaction (based on everyday normal Gen4 use) and by comparing the 2TB MP600 versus the much lesser ranked 2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 NVMe, how many seconds faster speed can I expect between the two? The speed differences maybe indiscernible afterall and Samsung can save me $80 out of the box! Thoughts?

generally i like corsairs stuff & for a x4 drive dont think its too much compared to others ..recently been looking at the 2tb x3 corsair offerings im still using a well old 970 evo non plus

Many thanks Robert for the information. I was just looking at the actual speed differences in literally seconds between 'boot-up times' and in getting better or smoother in-gaming cut scene deliveries. More of a plain curiosity factor than a product purchase. Specifically when playing Mass Effect 3 - the Battle For Earth, I still even with a 980ti, a 6-core Intel CPU and a 860 EVO 2TB SATA experience some sluggishness and marginal load-times with the cut-scenes. So my question today is basically can or will a much improved or speedier NVMe be helpful and to what degree? Will it make sense to putting out the extra dollars?
