Corsair h60 second fan

Hi Hi Hi.


With my pc 100% complete. Games all running maxed out and the first dusting-out coming soon I am already thinking about upgrades.

So I was thinking. I could add another fan to the h60 for a push-pull config. My questions. Would this help lower the temperatures further and be a good idea? If so what fan(s) would be good?

Would getting a pair of sp120's for the h60 be a good idea?

My pc:
i5-3570k
8gb corsair vengeance
7970 sapphire dual-x
corsair 600t white
MSI z77a-g45

Are you using the stock fan of the H60?
If so, yeh, get the SPs, Scythe GTs, Noctua NFs or Silverstone APs

Or you could go with the Noiseblocker NB e-loop, they lock stunning , perform well and are silent too !
Got them in my rig on my rads .

It should be a fair bit quieter yes (assuming you're using the stock fan)
Don't expect like 20 degrees off your temps though - you may get about 5 degrees maybe at best

What's the best way of connecting the 2 fans? I have the H60 fan plugged into the CPU FAN header....but there's only one of those.
Money burning a hole etc...

I haven't actually got round to it yet. College and life has thrown the best it can at me. Leaving almost no time to sit down. Order them and then fit them.

Hopefully soon. (if I have the money left after buying a HTC desire X)

Sounds like a familiar story.

I might end up buying them anyway.maybe it'll be me letting you know what they're like.
Phones aren't cheap....

Estimated to be £230. But TBH I haven't got a new phone for 5years. Still have a 2mp camera on my current samsung one.


Would be nice to know how you get on if you do get them before me.
