the h100 beats it by a couple of degrees but then it is extremely loud but apparently if you put some noctua nf-f12s on it then it is really good but then your getting into real watercooling kit prices anyway
Ray, check out Tom's review of the H100. Surprisingly good results, but like said just above me, it's approaching the cost of a real WC kit when you swap out the fans.
Noctua doesn't require high CFM fans to cool exceptionally well. Also, the area above the cpu is just wasted space...you might as well fill it up somehow.
