Personally, I love the design, but it would have been good if it was offered with a variety of Cherry MX switches, to cater for everyone's preferences

Not impressed. Mainly because of the design (a bit too shouty/GAMER for me) and you can get a decent keyboard from someone like ducky, who will give you more customization options if thats your thing. Heck, even CMstorm who make basic looking keyboards but will take a right beating and won't fall apart a few months later. Thats something I've yet to really experience with Corsair peripherals myself.

Too much of a gamery design for my tastes TBH.

Is it the LED on the side?

Yep and the square media buttons at the top right, Personally I prefer the K70/K95, They seem a lot more professional feeling and looking, Keep those the way they are, Don't fix what aint broke ^_^, This though has a bit of a kid vibe to it.

Yeah between the K70/K95 and STRAFE media button layout, I do like the K70/K95, like you said its more professional. But considering that this is a cheaper keyboard, I like the way it feels... I don't know what it is, but there's something about it that stands out and feels right for the price. You're feedback is worth noting though.

I feel like someone's going to have a massive "I told you so!" moment at Corsair HQ ;)

Now, that happens on a daily basis.. in a fun way :p
