I am a big fan of this case but wondered if anyone whom has bought it recently can tell me if the front panel usb 3.0 connector is now MB based and not pass through?

Also how well would the Rampage IV extreme X79 MB fit in it with a H100 cooler with the fans on the inside of the case (pulling air in)?

I haven't bought the case recently but I'm assuming it's still passive via the back of the case into the USB3 ports at the back of your motherboard.

The motherboard and j100 should fit fine in the case, if the radiator is fairly large you can just move the rad and fan positioning closer to the side panel - I did this with my PA120.2 rad which is just under 50mm thick and wouldn't have fitted in at all where the fan holes are currently with the motherboard inside.

Out of interest, why pulling air in? Surely push would be better?

You can also unscrew the backplate from the internal USB connector and route the cable into the space behind the motherboard and connect the front panel usb cables there, completely out of sight. This is what I did with mine.
