Corsair 600T White Optimal Airflow

Evenin' gents,

I just purchased an MSI 560 Ti Hawk. Quite an upgrade coming from my aging 9800GTX+ and I'm quite happy with it. Seems to run The Witcher 2 on High without a hitch at 1920*1200, and for now it's running at 1000/2000/4300Mhz with stock voltages. Haven't tried any stressful tests yet, but it passes 3DMark 11 with a P score of 5308 so can't complain.

Except about the temps, or rather the noise. It's idling at 50°C, and seems to settle at 72-75°C when playing The Witcher 2 and running 3DMark 11. But the fans are fairly freaking loud. They don't go past 65%, but Christ on a pogo stick that is not a pleasant soundlevel at all.

So to combat the temps and noise, I figured my White 600T could probably use some better fans. Right now it's got the stock 200mm intake fan and the stock exhaust fan mounted as an intake beneath my DVD drive. Exhaust wise I've got the stock 200mm and a blue LED Scythe fan (SY1225SL12VBL) with the LEDs cut out.

My PSU is mounted fan down, so it's just off doing its own thing.

My CPU cooler is the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced. CPU is still at stock, and idles around 38°C. Most I've seen load at is 52°C with CoreTemp.

No idea what my room temp is, but I'd wager around 25°C.

Right now one HDD cage is positioned on the 'floor' of the case in front of the PSU with two Samsung Spinpoint F3s in it. The other cage I've left out.

Now, on to the actual question:

What is the best course of action to take to increase airflow as much as possible without increasing noise levels? As a reference, right now all my case fans are hooked up to the fan controller and it's set to 50% (which is exactly the same as 0%, but whatever). If I set it 100% it's far too distracting. And they still seemingly push no air, except for the Scythe at the back. Terrible video to demonstrate:

I was thinking of jury rigging three Noctua NF-S12B (or should I go for NF-P12s? There shouldn't be any obstructions hampering them save from the dust filters) as intake fans and then three as exhaust as well. Exhausts are easy of course, seeing as there are mounts for three 120mm fans. Intake, yeah, dunno, any & all advice is most welcome.

Or if there are better, or equal fans, that will fit the aesthetics of the case better? Or a different setup? Really, I haven't a clue what to do here, save from buying another case but I'm far too in love with my White 600T to even consider such a heinous act and shame on you for mentioning it!

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I think your fan config looks good. Have you tried downloading MSI Afterburner? You can set up a custom fan profile.

My TF3 idles at around 50ish but the fan speed is only 25% - and its really quiet.

Mine idles at 50°C with 38% fan speed. Yyyeah. And yep, I used MSI Afterburner. I appear to be able to set the fanspeed to max out at 50% (unless the temps go over 85°C, then I have them ramping up just in case) and it seemingly holds stable between 75-80°C but I'd really like it if it settled at 70°C with 50% fanspeed. And for that I imagine I need better airflow in my case, which led me to post this topic.

I'm not even sure I can drop the temps by close to 10°C with just better case fans, I kinda highly doubt it, but I'll be damned if I won't try. So now I'm on the lookout for silent fans that move a fair amount of air. Static pressure shouldn't be an issue, unless they can't even cope with the dust filters. AND how to set them up to get the best airflow going. 3 intake, 3 exhaust? Leave top exhaust as is, just a better one in the rear and a better 200mm in the front? Something else?

If all else fails I can pop in the sidepanel mesh and hook up 4 120mm fans to vomit fresh air right on top of that damnable GPU but I sincerely doubt that would be silent. And it means I'd have to order a custom dust filter from South Africa or MacGyver one up myself from Nylon stockings or something.
