Corsair 570X RGB Premium Tempered Glass Case Review

For a case that has "premium" in the name is sure does look cheap. I don't feel that Corsair has found their real style of cases (eventhough they dont make bad cases). I feel like they are just following trends and have nothing that makes them stand out stylewise or functionwise.

It looks better in the video tbh. I love it, all apart from that hex frame. It's just too busy and detracts from the gorgeous glass. Shame, maybe you could mod it?

Edit. Within three minutes you'd taken it out Tom lol. Just a dust filter, those would have to go.

I like it a lot, IMO better in real

but cant post pics, don't have same NDA as reviewer ;)

good quality

Argh my missus was getting me the 460X as a Christmas present. I was tossing up between that and the Fractal Define C - yes the Fractal is probably a better product and quality but that bling though...

Now I may have to talk her up to the next level and go 570X. Such a beautiful looking case! Mod those dust filters and she'd be spot on.

The only drawbacks aside from a more regimented cleaning regime for dust and fingerprints that concerns me is that when I transport it I'd have to be extra careful. My 500R has a few dings from travelling in the back of the car so I'd need a pillow sandwich or something.

I also believe the RGB fans don't actually have an off setting for the LEDs which could be a little annoying if you leave it on overnight.

Sorry i don't like this case at all, I don't like the fact it completely see through don't get me wrong i like temped glass but to me this case looks cheap and plastic which i know it's not.

IMO Corsair have lost there way with case design, Also i think too Corsair haven't made a good case in over 2 years back when they were making the obsidian line of cases.

Also i feel like this is kinda a rip off of another case Tom review a while ago.

Again with the DAMN RGB LED Fans sigh.

I think it's a beautiful looking case. But I don't see why anyone would call it a ripoff? Do you also call it a ripoff, when everyone is using plastic panels on their case? :) It's not like one company have the only rights to do tempered glass side panels.

Sigh.....

I'm talking about design i feel like when i see these sort of cases now, I feel there all ripping each other off in same way.

I already said i like tempered glass but i don't like everything to be glass, I understand it's not marketed towards people like me, I'm sure there is other people who don't like all tempered glass panels either.

I second this. While I appreciate the all glass design (its a good start Corsair!), I feel there are a few issues Its down to how the panels aren't flush and those dumb legs (not to mention the filter) have been done. It'd be much harder to produce en masse without charging more if you fixed the things I don't like about it.

I was probably one of the first few on here to get a tempered glass case and its pretty cool to see its becoming a thing properly. It'll be interesting to see how far this goes before the bigger companies see it as too much of a pain to do.

Every time I see this style of case I think of In Win, the only thing that puts me off are the 4 huge screws holding each panel on.. innovation in fitting the panels would have made all the difference IMHO.

Nah i somewhat agree with you.

I like tempered glass but I hate the fact that no matter how clean my place is, any dust and buildup is so clear as day on the glass it quickly looks dusty/dirty. My coffee table for example has the same glass and tint as this case. I can just literally watch the dust particles get drawn to it like a magnet. Clearly not good for me to have a case like this based on my OCD for having things tidy:D

I'm wondering if there's different levels of tempered games and maybe Corsair went the cheaper route so they could save money but still over charge for it.

I have seen the prices down here now for it no way i'm paying the kind of money that they want for it, As i have said to me this case looks cheap and it doesn't do anything for me.

"Corsair have lost there way, there just copying other companies where one time they were leaders in the case field".

Such a nice looking case but there are just too many oversights to justify buying it imo. Cant wait until they perfect the looks, cable management and usability. That said, I'm excited to see TTLs custom 570X when he finishes it, I like the direction he's going with it.

Sorry for the thread nercro but since the review, Corsair have refreshed the case and put in a grommeted cable management hole on top of the PSU shroud, Pretty nice touch, Makes cable management sooo much easier.
