Corsair 450D Review

Really Corsair?
So far I'm not impressed about the looks or the price. Honestly I think the Fractal Arc Midi would be better.Heck it should be around the same price as the arc as well. The rad support is quite nice though. It doesn't even look that Obsidian-y.

Hi

Seems very much a "Tween-er" product to me. I would pick the 350D for a small form factor and the 750D for a full-blown build. I have a hard time seeing where I would find a place for this case in my thinking. I love the obsidian series and my own 250D, yet this one is not really hitting me right now.

Ooh case review, time for a rant... I seen to be making a thing out of this.
So to start off, I saw the silver award coming. 92 pound and that front panel dust filter soured it for me, anyways here goes.
1) Its a cheap(er) obsidian for gods sale, what's not to like?
2) front panel is 'different' especially for those who possibly thought the 750d had too plain a front panel.
3) Y U NO properly dust filter the front, especially when you put fans there ???
4) roof is just like my 750d, good because I really like it especially the magic mesh
5) that dust filter on the bottom, why can't I have that on my 750d, seeing as I have a costly room.
6) from what I could see, the size reduction stops the front panel.from looking stupid when an optical drive or bay rez is used.

Yeah, I do like it especially when compared to the overrated H440. but don't regret my 750d purchase, even if I have a half width motherboard and Intel CPU cooler at the moment..

If I can get a summer job this will definitely be on the upgrade list from my enermax ostrog. The 650d is a bit out of my price point for a case, but either way I hated the look of the side panel on that thing. I've been waiting for this case for a long time and I'm so glad it's here...

Got one of these arriving tomorrow morning and will be fitting it with my 1st custom loop build . As said before its Obsidian and what sold it to me was the fact it has many rad possibilities was tempted by the NZXT H440 but then theres no external 5.25 bays on that case which restricts bay reservoirs from being used.So when this case was in the mix of Obsidian choices its just the right size for my needs and as always in this range a quality case with a nice sleek look. Will post further as the build takes place and will be looking for advice on what to use in and out im sure
