Good god. That translates to about an £95 CPU. And it beats a X6800 when OCed!

I think this will be a gold chip.

The E6300s wont be sold anymore if this is true and they keep their price (180). This is a really good deal.

Will be interesting to see how they compare when they are actually released, but the prices are basically the same already. If they are as good as the E6300's for overclocking the extra multi might be worth it tho I guess.

Agreed. The prelim results posted on the net gave the appearance that every E6600 was capable of 4GHZ+, when in reality you've gotta be extremely lucky to get a retail chip capable of anything close.

Totally agreed - my E6600 doesn't clock amazingly well and needs a whole lot of volts to get up there
