Hey everyone, need to get my sister who is studying architecture a good wireless mouse that she can use for a good amount of hours comfortably.

From what i seen so far i liked the Logitech VX Nano which is +/- 35 bucks.

Can anyone recommend a comfortable and good wireless mouse?

That Nano VX doesn't look too bad but I'd be clicking the back and next buttons all the time.

Personally I have the ... What's its name again. Logitech V220. It's a nice little mouse but you have to be used to having only your fingers in the mouse. Is pretty accurate and works on most surfaces, battery time isn't too bad (few months) and takes standard AA batteries :)

Only real drawback is the system used to turn it off. If you slide the receiver in the mouse it will automatically switch it off and on when you slide it out. But if it accidentally slides out while it is in your bag, you've got a drained battery fairly fast :p

I use the VX Nano for school work every day, and it is in my opinion the best mouse for a laptop. The forward/back buttons are easy to get used to. You don't easily accidentually hit them, and they are priceless to have when browsing. They can also easily be rebound using the Setpoint software.

I would definately pick the VX Nano for a laptop. But if it is a desktop, i would go for a bigger and wired one such as the classic G5 or a Roccat Kone or something similar.

Above all, i would definately choose a mouse with forward/back buttons, since they just make browsing and general work so much easier. This would, for me, rule out the V220.

They are definately not too easy to press. They are soft enough to be easily pressable, but hard enough to not be pressed by any random stroke. Besides, they are not positioned so you would hit them while using the standard buttons. They are navigated using the forefinger, as opposed to the standard of using the thumb. This makes it hard to use the buttons for gaming, but for writing, browsing etc it's perfectly fine.

It's also very sturdy. I've dropped mine several times, and although it has scratches, there are no cracks, and it still functions perfectly. It has a really nice sturdy and solid feel, emms of quality.
