Cooler purchase advices needed

Hey guys,

I just bought a new PC with a i7 2600k and thought that I could use the boxed edition, but it turned out to be way to loud for me.

I thought about buying a good cooler but even after watching and reading tons of reviews I can't decide witch to chose!

The only thing that I have in my mind right now is buying a H100 and buy some better fans for it (more silent)

Would the SILENT WINGS / DARK WINGSDW1 140mm from be quiet be a good choise or not?

 Some better fans on the H100 would work but you need 120mm not 140mm fans.

Are the fans that come with the nh-d14 quiet?

quieter and better that my suggestet setup with h100 and Dark wings?

I got your thread mixed up with another so if you saw my post before I changed it sorry about that.

But yeah, the NH-D14 is the quietest cooler you can buy, the H100 can achieve slightly lower temps but it won't be as quiet as the D14.

The fans that come with the D14 are very quiet especially if you run them with the noise reduction cables they come with.

And will I get any problems with my case? cause of hugeness? I have a 650D corsair

It's around £70 don't know what that is in Euros.

And you won't have any probs fitting it in your case.

Beside the NH-D14, you may also take a look at the NZXT Havik 140. It's slightly less costly than the NH-D14, and the fans are slightly more audible, but nevertheless it's a great cooler.

It actually shocked me how much the sound drops. Although I got the CP-12, it's pretty silent as well if I use the cables.

Thx for all this suggestions but I think I will go with the d14... That sounds like the best choise for me
