Cooler Master's H500P is here, bringing back the company's HAF series into the modern era. Has CM returned to the glory days?

Stayed up til 2 am waiting on ur review lol finally had to go to bed. Now it’ll be later today before I get time. Been waiting on this case

wasnt sure when it was your time I know kitguru popped it way early but then took it down from youtube but left it on another site. but just freed up sometime to watch it now :)

Just watched the review and so much want on this case and another top review Tom, and you could see the poor girl copped a hammering as the top radiator mounts were all bent out of shape.

yeah next build going in this one. Great review but a question. on the back of the mobo tray there's 2 screw points, are those meant for a secondary spot to mount those ssd caddies??

Thats correct, just something I fogot to mention in the video >.<

I'd have to sacrifice 2Tb of storage but this case would be so much worth it, and I have a lovely spot for it to sit. I'm really surprised at the low price tbh was expecting it to be out of what I'd consider case value

Holy crap that is two 200mm fans in the front correct? *bang*. Please excuse the bang, that was my head exploding. God *damn* that looks mean. I love it !

Only thing I don't like about it and I am being super picky is the roller coaster struts up the sides. Other than that? yeah, that's a case man.

Edit just watched the vid, cheers for that Tom. Another very very minor complaint is that I would like GPU cable holes in the floor shroud below the GPU. So you can have them coming up perfectly straight into your GPU from the floor pan like I did with my Triad build. Best way to achieve this is with little covers that screw on from behind so that if you don't use them the floor is still solid (big positive that the floor is all one piece and so on).

I also like how the cable side is not glass, plastic or anything else see through. We had a bit of a debate on another forum recently about that side of the case and it was pretty much unanimous that no one wanted it to be glass. It only means you have to spend hundreds of pounds on custom cables made to length etc etc if you want it to look every bit as good as the rest of your rig, and thus was better solid. So congrats to CM for not being plebs and making that glass. Stupid dumb idea needs to go away ASAP thx m8 gr8.

But yeah, lots to like about this and the dual 200mm intake is mental and something we should have seen long ago IMO.

Thanks you Sire I was hoping that was the case. I dont mind losing my 3.5 HDD storage but losing my small ssd/hdd storage for a thick rad would be disappointing.

Awesome case, a bit out of my price range, but cracking case.

Only things I'm not sold on are the inflexibility with the mechanical storage, and the dust filtering. It'd be a right pain to clean that out imo.

hardware canuks showed the hdd cage can be moved back towards the psu there is 3 slots for it to fit in but only 2 screw points so it can be moved back enough to fit a 60mm thick rad he said.

Didn't think I'd like it as not a fan of CM cases but this has actually wow'd me. Desperately begs for modding and my juices are flowing again. Not too keen on the 200mm spinners they always seem to be off balance and the air flow I always found to be tripe, what are these like for flow Guv?

EDIT: just finished the Vid, it's screaming White with Red mesh and a whole host of Corsair ML RGB fans if I'm honest, I'd even go as far as covering the clear plastic with 2 way mirror vinyl.

Tom, did you notice any issues with fitting things? Just watched both your video and Dimitri's from HardwareCanucks and he mentioned he had several areas where parts just didn't seem to fit correctly.

Everyone usually says how awesome 200mm fans are for blowing a poop-ton of air with very little noise.

You just need to align things properly IMHO (assuming hes on about the top panel etc)
