Cooler Master ATCs 840 replacement

Hey guys,

I'm saving some money for a new system, but instead of waiting a long time and buy all at once, I'm thinking of getting the case first, put my current system there, in a few months get the watercooling parts, and by the end of the year, get the hardware (minus graphics card, that's for 2020).

Why? I need to feed my system building hunger.

I've been using my Cooler Master ATCs 840 for nearly 10 years (with some modding to keep up with the needs), and it's still my favourite case to this date. But I think it's time for something fresh, but that I can call a step up.

My only prerequisite is that it must fit (at least) one 3x180mm radiator or two 2x180mm radiators, and a big window to feature those radiators.

Any suggestions?

You're not going to find any case that supports one 180mm let alone 3x180mm
You'll have to find a second hand caselabs case as that's got the best radiator options, but caselabs went out of business a few months ago, so it'll be hard to find and expensive.

Or make your own case.

Only other option would be to get new water cooling gear and a case like a Corsair 900D that'll fit as much radiator into it as available really

I don't have the watercooling gear yet. It's just something I want to do. Big and slow fans.

But now that you mentioned the 900D, I remembered that the 1000D has tray that properly modded, would be a good candidate... but the cost...

The 900D on the other hand, may be hard to find nowadays. I'll need to check.
