I truly don't understand how Cooler Master can act like they don't have any competition in the market. In fact I don't understand how they're still in business. Who keeps buying their overpriced products? There's a metric ton of better and yet less expensive alternatives practically everywhere.


The above mentioned H7 is better in every way. It's smaller, doesn't interfere with RAM slots, it cools better and it's in the same price range. And IMO it looks better. There's also the new-ish Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One. Same story there. So why does this exist?

Because it used to be so popular and the fact that companies like Amazon and such will bundle similar product reviews together. So the 212 gets thousands of high rated reviews and will get put in the "featured/Highest Rated" category and therefore everyone just assumes its the best and buys it.
