Condition laptop battery?

My laptop battery holds like...nothing anymore

How can i go about conditioning it?

Total drain then full charge a few times?

Depends on how many cells.

But I think charging it over night will do.

3 times at least I guess. I doubt it will help much at all though, dead batteries don't tend to turn back alive.

Indeed, was thinking the same. Lukcily this battery is fine, you should really let your battery go dead before charging again. When you are using the laptop via mains, remove the battery.

if its lithium, your never meant to let them drain fully nor overcharge them. Or this is what one of my boss's said. not sure if its true.

I always drain to about 10%, when my laptop gives a warning and charge overnight or in the evening too 100% and take it out asap after. I also remove it when using the laptop with mains like mentioned earlier.
