Computex 2021 will be a physical event - Opens doors on June 1st

I strongly believe that this will be a huge mistake. And even though they might not have any high number of cases etc, it's naive to think that most of the pandemic will be over by then. It's just too much going on today with the pandemic and if they do this, I highly believe it will be an event for several so called "super spreaders" of the virus - even if certain restrictions are in place.

It's a virus, which no one can see, feel, hear, smell or even sense in any way. And believing that restrictions will make the virus not spread due to them, is very naive in my opinion.

If you want to go then go. If you don't want to be apart of it then don't go. Very simple.

I could be misreading you, but I don't think it's that simple. If anyone contracts Covid at the event, the person doesn't stay at the event until it's out of their system; they take it home with them. It's like anti-vaccers. The issue isn't that parents should be allowed to choose; it's that their choice can affect others later on. An event like this is not about the people that choose to go; it's about the people they come home to.

If this is literally all you have to reply to my post, then maybe you should read it again and actually think about what it is I wrote. I never said anything about me going, I was talking about people in general, when there's an ongoing pandemic that is shredding thousands of lives everday.

That was so beyond naive that it's disrespectful.

Be offended then?

Reread what I said as well. What I said was a general statement about literally everything going on. If you want to go do something, do it. If you do not want to risk it, then don't. No where did I imply anything you planned on doing. You were generalizing, as was I in context of your post. What I said was very simple, don't make it out to be more than what it is.

I wasn’t offended at all, since it wasn’t aimed at me. I was just saying that I personally think you were naive and disrespectful with your reply. Which was very pointless and unnecessary on my post.
