Computer Chasis

I am going in for a new build with a custom liquid cooling solution that I am currently deciding up on for dual GTX 280s in SLI. I am strongly considering this case as my fort and would be obliged if I could get some opinions on it.

I have looked at the TJ07 and somehow find something missing there.

Thanks in advance
I'm sorry but you what...Found the TJ-07 lacking compared to the Thermaltake Armor+????? I have the TJ-07 and the Tt Xaser VI and the Silverstone wins hands down. The Xaser is probably the heaviest case I've ever lifted and that was a simple setup for a review - no water-cooling whatsoever. The Xaser and Armor+ are very plasticy, where the TJ-07 is predominantly Aluminium. The TJ-07 is screwed together, where the Armor+ will be riveted like the Xaser which makes pulling the chassis apart to mod it labour intensive. The TJ-07 is a classic shape without all the frilly lights and crap, but the Armour has all the frilly light but very little substance by comparison. However chassis choice is a personal thing, but imo the TJ-07 is in a completely different class. Choice is yours though :)

Thermaltake are more or less a bag of w@nk.

The TJ07 is probably the nicest case money can buy... Go with the TJ07 mate :)

In order Of my preference....

Have tried following top one being favourite...will soon be trying a TJ07 could this be the new 1#?

1#cosmos S (current case)

2#armor + little cheap though but fairly good room

3#mercury 3d glaxy

4#antec 1200 is ok

I'd go for Cosmos S if you don't like TJ07 will post my thougths on the TJ07 anyway

Well.. after trying lian-li cases I ain't never going back.. But the new PCV cases from LianLi ain't all that.. they're hardly modder friendly at all :(.. But, the PC70 cases from Lianli is about as good as things get, BUT, you'll have to do all the cutting yourself, which ain't a bad thing as you get it where you want it. But reading up and seeing the cases.. I'ld go with the TJ07 myself, with a bit of work it'll fit a 4x120 in the bottom and a 2x120 at the top.. but noone would need that much cooling for anything that fits in that box (regardless of what Swale might say :))..

Tbh riveted cases ain't bad if you're into drilling out the rivets and redoing them when you're done, it's a bit of hassle but..

I also love cases that has been manufactured with care so that there's no sharp edges. Not to mention thumbscrews and slidable motherboard trays.. I think I just fell abit in love with the Silverstone case.. It's got some flaws, like how the fans are mounted, makes modding necessary for radiator fitting, but doesn't look like a big deal.

*begins to chant*

LIAN LI!!!

LIAN LI!!!

LIAN LI!!!

LIAN LI!!!

But seriously, a V2K or one of the A7- series would always be my top choice for a watercooled setup. Cheaper than Silverstone, far better quality than Thermaltake, easier installation than CoolerMaster.:worship:

EDIT: Oh, theres always Mountain Mods aswell. :P

Want a good case that's modular, and easy to mod.. : http://www.microplex.no/aspx/produkt/prdinfovnet.aspx?plid=33415 It's a norwegian site that's gotten LianLi to design a case after their specifications..

I've used .. ehh something similar in the past.. A Chieftech JS-1500 .. You don't want that.. That case is bomb proof.. weighing in at about 30kg, steel all the way.. Aluminium is a complete stranger to those.. But it's AWSOME to mod and have more than ample room for watercooling.. only bad thing is that it's gigantic.. Sorry.. enough sidetracking..

The LianLi cube is a good case if you can live with the looks..
