Thank you again for viewing my thread and any adive would be much appreciated.

Full Tower case for a standard build is a Little overkill and so is 750w psu,550w will suffice. And you need something like aio watercooler for cpu.Maybe 250gb ssd?External dvd would make it look better also.

Agree, you need an aftermarket CPU cooler imo!

The case/motherboard combination and PSU are fine if you want to add another 980 later down the line, but if you only plan on having one card, what about downsizing to µATX? Should be a bit cheaper too and you can still get the same performance, including ROG board.

Thanks guys for replying, to the question of the case being overkill for a standard build - I have looked in depth into cases and that appeals to me the most and i know its a full tower and i did question myself about it, however i dont know what sort of upgrades i will be doing in the future and so i decided to go with this case to future proof it as it can fit like anything in it...

In regards to the psu, is it really overkill? should i go with a lower wattage? let me know...

Kind regards, Dale.

I´m pulling something like 380w in benchmarks on a similar build oc`ed.
Unless you go crossfire/sli or socket 2011/v3 550w is indeed enough for nearly any upgrades.
