Hello again boys & girls of OC3D town, after reading a fair few threads and helping out people with certain pinouts on peripherals and general enquiries I decided I'd put together a few select common pinout diagrams for future reference as I know a lot are starting to explore cable modding.

So here they are.

Just in case anyone happens to come across these attached to their PCIe/EPS/24 Pin connectors, and wonders why they are there.

If anyone requires any other pinouts or exotic cables let me know I have an extensive library of wiring diagrams.

On the 5v/7v/12v molex one - the 12v and 5v molexes are wrong surely?

From what I can work out, you've just swapped the red and yellow wires over. They'd need to cross and go to the opposite side to get the intended result(?)

I've only ever had to do that with fans (not too sure if there are any other uses?), and so I'd normally cut out two of the cables like you have on the 7v one.

I understand what your saying.

It all depends on how you look at them, the first 2 (top left) diagrams are just standard molex to molex lay outs including all cables, they make sense if you cross match them with the adjacent (top right) diagram which shows the PSU to Molex.
 
Big thanks to everyone today your suggestions have been greatfully received, I've edited and added the 3 & 4pin fan diagrams to the list and also the RJ45 ethernet socket. enjoy :)

What about a retro version just for giggles... COMM ports, PS/2, Parallel printer port, MIDI and good 'ol fashioned joystick port :D
