1T is better than 2T, but with the ram I've used, I can make up for performance loss with a 5 mhz bump in speed. Seems better to go with 2T than lower timings on ram.

AMD64 winchester, these things really do prefer lower timings. There was a way greater loss in performance when I raised my ram from 2.5-4-4-7 to 2.5-5-5-9.

Sounds like some $$$ ram. I build cheap so went with some good $160 (was $190) ddr500 geil.
