Asus Striker Extreme nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8888C4 TwinX (2x1GB)

CPU Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66GHZ

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB Silent WaterCooled GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

I have the system water cooled

Im looking to clock the system a little and need some help with the mem and any other pointers anyone can help with :-)

Extreme Tweaker Memory Timing

tCL (cas latency) - auto

tRCD - auto

tRAS - auto

command per clock (cmd) - auto

advanced memory setting

tRRD - auto

tRC - auto

tWR - auto

tWTR - auto

tREF - auto

Async Latency - auto

Extreme Tweaker Voltage

Vcore Voltage - auto

Memory Voltage - auto

1.2V HT Voltage - auto

NB Voltage - auto

SB V Voltage - auto

CPU VTT Voltage - auto

DDR2 Controller Ref Voltage - auto

DDR2 Channel A Ref Voltage - auto

DDR2 Channel B Ref Voltage - auto

To start off with:

Extreme Tweaker Memory Timing

tCL (cas latency) - 4

tRCD- 4

tRP - 4

tRAS- 12

command per clock (cmd) - 2T

advanced memory setting

tRRD - auto

tRC- auto

tWR - auto

tWTR - auto

tREF- auto

Async Latency - auto

Extreme Tweaker Voltage

Vcore Voltage - depends on CPU and level of OC

Memory Voltage - 2.3-2.4v

1.2V HT Voltage - auto

NB Voltage - one option above middle

SB V Voltage - auto

CPU VTT Voltage - auto

DDR2 Controller Ref Voltage - auto

DDR2 Channel A Ref Voltage - auto

DDR2 Channel B Ref Voltage - auto

Thanks :-)

Seem to be working fine with your settings will run ramtest tonight someone has said you can push it to 5,5,5,18 ?

Also is there much u can do to push the CPU or is it best to run that as normal?

Run two sets of Orthos (copy and paste into two folders) which should stress out your quad

RTHDRIBL will heat the GPU up nice

"Pushing" with memory timings would mean lowering them to reduce latency, i wouldnt expect to be able to push your timings (4-4-4-12) much lower as they are already pretty darn low.

Have a look on Overclock3Ds main site for guides on overclocking your CPU
