Cleaning Loop

What's the best option to clean ones loop? I'm thinking white vinegar with hot demineralized water. But how much vinegar exactly and how long should the loop run before it's considered clean? 50/50?

Some are against using vinegar, some are not. I'm not planning on ever using vinegar to clean my loop. Instead when the time comes (in a few months probably), I'll simply drain it, disassemble it and use hot demineralised water for the rads and open up the blocks to see how they are faring.

If you're using flex tubing you might want to consider replacing it depending on how much of a film they have developed inside of the tube.

I'm using a hardline loop so that's all I'll be doing for my loop.

needs to be de-constructed, not run in situ otherwise it won't be cleaned. get fresh tubing and clean your rads with warm, pure white vinegar. then rinse many times with di water. reconstruct with fresh tubing, ey walla

Thanks for the reply guys. I wasn't really sure when and which situations to use vinegar. I use EK ZMT rubber tube, and I tend to get these tiny black particles when I drain it. I suspect it might be a byproduct of using dishwater soap when priming. Highly doubt it originates from the tube though.
