Cities: Skylines II has been revealed by Colossal Order

Yeah I saw that and being it's paradox I'm thinking it will be no better than the sims for DLC milking

I know those won;t be the actual ingame visuals but would be great if they were close to that... oh and stop piling everything onto 1 CPU core too, that would be nice ^_^

I can't see them adding new content tbh. They have everything now.

I could only see them introducing new features (of no idea what they could add) and improved AI/graphics

I expect they bring better graphics and I hope they bring better CPU performance, but really, for this to be an actual successor to Cities Skylines it needs to fix the nonsense the first game had, like all cities needed to be built upon an USA-like zoning system, the area of effect of infrastructure buildings like hospitals and police dpt were absurdly, unrealiscally low, the noise pollution system frequently simply didn't make sense, etc.

Basically giving player more freedom, maybe with selectable different sets of rules so the game would still be challenging while allowing for more diverse city arrangements.

It would be good to have the game have more options outside of car-centric city design. It would be cool to see more options for cycling infrastructure etc so that more European style cities can be created.
