These key switches also open the door to slimline desktop keyboards. I can see a lot of people being interested in that. Less bulky keyboards with mechanical keys.

I, for one, am using the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile MX Red keyboard, always preferred low profile over normal sized keys.
