That's cool nathan, thanks for the link! I might look in to one of those circuit board mouse mats, I really like that idea.

I wonder if they've lacquered it to make sure it's a completely smooth surface or just sanded off any remaining solder?

That would look pretty wicked. It's a cool idea and it's also good because it's made with recycled material

by the looks of it, they never had any solder in them, not sure if there really good at cleaning them up or they were never used in production. If felt like it was lacquered.
