I'm looking for a cheap USB KVM...well it doesn't even need video, just the ability to switch my USB keyboard and mouse between two PC's. Anybody seen anything cheap in their travels?

Sorry, I haven't but might I suggest Synergy. It should allow you to leave them connected to one but control the other.

Cheap ? eek no.

These switches are often extremely overpriced, and alot of times cheaper can be bad switching that can require a pc reboot to get control back >.<

Just 2 pcs tho.. I`m sure I`m seen some that are just leads and u can switch with the keyboard... hmmm

Too bad u don`t want ps2, they`re coming to the £30 area for good 4 pc ones. Be interesting if u could use converters on them (probably not).

usually converters don't work & supposedly next year we will start to see chipsets without PS/2 support.

Whatever you do, avoid the USB Belkin ones, last time I used one it was shockingly poor. The PS2 ones are fine, but that isn't much help for you...
