Hi

My motherboard is an Asus Maximus Extreme. I would like to know what kind of memory to get for it. I'm currently running on Kingston Value ram 1333 since 3 years. I would like to get better memory that isn't Value Ram. I only have 4go ( 2X2go) and i would like if it possible to get more memory like 8Go.

Can you link me a really good choice for the memory i could get please. I'm running a lot of photoshop autocad / maya and games and 4go isnt enough.

Thanks a lot.

I also forget to mention with the kingston memory, i'm getting a lot of bluescreen and it prevent me to overclock like i should be able.

kingston is great :: although the HyperX is made for overclocking, where the value ram is not

Depends on what bit operating system you have, if you have 32bit (86x) theres no point going over 4GB and if you have 64bit (64x) the amount depends on your needs, 6GB should be fine, 8GB if you want to go the extra mile, don't see a reason for 12GB or above.

Mushkin, Kingston, Corsair, Crucial are some good manufacturers I can remember off the top of my head.

Make sure the ram you are going to buy supports your motherboard:
